In-Person Indoor Worship Guidelines
Prior to Arrival
Please arrive on time, prior to the service for which you are registered. Doors will close shortly after the service begins, and we will have very limited capacity to continue seating people throughout the worship service.
Please ensure that each member of your family/pod/party can answer “no” to each of the following questions:
Do you have any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, new loss of smell or loss of taste?
Does anyone in your household have an active, diagnosed case of COVID-19?
Have you had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 10 minutes)?
During the Service
Masks are required at all times for anyone over the age of 2 years old.
Everyone will be seated with the people they registered with (members of your household or pod).
Whenever in the sanctuary, all worshipers must maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet from anyone outside their family/pod/party. Seating is arranged to provide for this requirement.
Congregational singing is prohibited throughout the service, as it is a known “super-spreader.” Music led by a cantor, rhythm, and movement in other forms will be incorporated into the service.
Due to our limitations, we are not able to provide nursery or children’s worship at this time. All members of the family will need to remain together, seated, throughout the service. (Exceptions provided, of course, for restroom use or other urgent matters)
Commitments and Assurances from RCHP
We are ensuring the correct “outfitting” of the sanctuary to provide for adequate ventilation, spacing, and other safety measures, prior to opening for worship.
We will be confirming health conditions and conducting temperature checks at both entrances to the sanctuary before admitting attendees.
We are designating special Greeters and Ushers to facilitate safe and organized movement in and out of the sanctuary.
We will provide masks and hand sanitizer for every attendee, as needed.
All worship leaders will remain masked throughout the service.
We will be arranging for additional cleaning protocols before and after worship services.
We will provide printed information on safety guidelines to every family or group that chooses to join us in person.
We will use the registration lists to conduct rigorous contact tracing, should any incident of infection be reported to the church.
