Fasting for Immigration Reform
While comprehensive immigration reform seemed possible at the end of 2013, Republican leaders in the U.S. House have announced that they will not pursue this issue this year. While this turn of events is very disappointing, we are committed to doubling our efforts and prayers for meaningful reform. We are continuing our church-wide fast and join a nation-wide movement in support of our immigrant brothers and sisters and their families EVERY WEDNESDAY during Lent. Can you join us and commit to fast, to reflect and to pray each Wednesday until immigration reform becomes a reality? To pledge, please visit http://fast4families.org/join-us/.
