Kids in the Cave (KITC) is held on Monday nights from 7-8pm, in the Cave – the lower level of the church. The format for KITC consists of group games, a topical theme, and a creative activity. We will always end the evening with prayers of thanksgiving and requests. Throughout the year we will be doing monthly service projects, singing, and keeping gratitude journals.
Our theme for this year is based on Psalm 139:14 “I praise you God, for I am wonderfully made.”
September – October: School and Friends – Building friendships within the group and then taking that love and acceptance and sharing it with others, along with doing our best and leading balanced lives will be our focus.
November: Parables – Becoming Jesus detectives, we will explore the meanings of Jesus’ teachings.
December: Symbols of Christmas
January – April: “I Am” sayings
